Send fee — sender side

  • No percentage component: sending N$50 costs the same as sending N$5,000.
  • No government tax: Namibia has no e-levy-style charge on mobile money.

Withdrawal fee — recipient side

  • FNB Namibia ATM (cardless) withdrawalN$14 flat.
  • The N$14 fee applies on withdrawal, not on receiving the SMS — getting an eWallet costs nothing.
  • FNB does not deduct this from the sender; it is the recipient who bears it at the ATM.

Sender + recipient total for common scenarios

  • Send N$100 → total cost N$24 (N$10 sender + N$14 recipient). Recipient nets N$86 in hand.
  • Send N$500 → total cost N$24, recipient nets N$486.
  • Send N$2,000 → total cost N$24, recipient nets N$1,986.

Is there a percentage fee?
No. FNB eWallet is flat: N$10 send, N$14 withdrawal, regardless of amount. No percentage, no state tax.
Does the sender pay for the withdrawal?
No. The N$14 is deducted from the amount drawn at the ATM, so the recipient bears it. The sender pays only the N$10 send fee.
