Financial Activities Tax (TAF) on fees
Levy activeTogo applies a 10% TAF (financial activities tax) on the mobile money fee itself — not on the amount sent. In force since 1 January 2024, it replaced the previous 18% VAT on fees. The operator is liable and passes it through in the displayed fee, so a 100 FCFA fee costs 110 FCFA all-in. Providers: Mixx by Yas (formerly TMoney) and Flooz (Moov Africa).

What are the withdrawal fees in Togo?
In Togo, mobile-money withdrawal is priced by amount band. On Mixx by Yas (ex-TMoney), cashing out up to 5,000 F costs 100 F, and up to 100,000 F costs 1,000 F. On Flooz (Moov), it is 100 F up to 5,000 F and 1,000 F up to 100,000 F. Sending is free (6 transfers/day on Mixx, 3 on Flooz), then charged.
Send: 6 transfers/day free, then 1% from the 7th. Withdrawal by band: 50 F (≤500), 100 F (≤5,000), 300 F (≤20,000), 600 F (≤50,000), 1,000 F (≤100,000).
