How much does a mobile money to bank transfer cost in Cameroon?

Cameroon's two operators price it differently. MTN MoMo ("Push and Pull", *126#) charges per bank — for example Ecobank 1%, UBA 1% capped at 1,000 FCFA, Afriland free. Orange Money ("OM Fusion", #150*7#) charges 1.5% up to 100,000 FCFA, then a flat 2,200–2,500 FCFA by band up to the 500,000 FCFA cap.

Bank → Wallet

From a bank into the wallet, UBA Cameroon charges 1% up to 100,000 FCFA, then a flat 1,000 FCFA on higher bands up to 500,000 (to both MTN MoMo and Orange Money). Other banks set their own fees — check with yours.

Cameroon's 0.2% mobile-money tax (TTA, since January 2022) is set out to EXCLUDE bank transfers and deposits into wallets, so wallet↔bank movements should not attract it. In practice whether a specific flow counts as an exempt "virement" or a taxable "transfer" can be ambiguous — confirm with your operator.

Worked example: Sending 100,000 FCFA from MTN MoMo to a UBA account via Push and Pull costs about 1,000 FCFA (1%, capped). Pulling 100,000 FCFA from a UBA account back into a MoMo or Orange wallet costs about 1,000 FCFA too.
