How do I send from a MoMo wallet to Africa?
Open the MoMo PSB app, tap Transfer → "To Africa" (or dial *671#), choose the destination country, enter the recipient's MoMo number, name, amount and purpose, then confirm with your PIN. The fee is a flat 3% with no hidden charges, money lands instantly, and you can send to 14 African countries.
Step by step

In the MoMo PSB app choose Transfer, then "To Africa". You can also start from *671# on your MTN line.
- 2Select the recipient's country
Pick one of the supported African destinations from the list.
- 3Enter phone number, amount and purpose
Type the recipient's MoMo phone number and name, the amount, and the transaction purpose.
- 4Review the 3% fee and confirm with your PIN
Check the flat 3% fee and total, then enter your 4-digit PIN. Funds credit the recipient's wallet instantly with an SMS confirmation.

The fee and daily limits
Sending to Africa is a flat 3% of the amount — "no hidden charges", per momo.ng. How much you can move per day is set by your KYC tier:
