How much is a MoMo to bank transfer in Ghana?

Re-verified 3 July 2026: the 0.75% MoMo-to-bank fee (cap GH₵5) that MTN announced on 25 May 2026 for a 1 June start is SUSPENDED and never took effect — the Bank of Ghana directed Mobile Money Fintech Ltd to pause it on 26 May 2026, pending stakeholder consultation. It has not been reinstated and no consultation outcome has been published. So as of now, wallet-to-bank is not subject to the 0.75% fee.

Moving GH₵500 from your MoMo wallet to a linked bank account costs GH₵0 today. Had the 0.75% fee gone live it would have cost GH₵3.75 (0.75% of GH₵500, under the GH₵5 cap) — but the Bank of Ghana suspended it.

Cameroon: "Push and Pull" is per-bank

In Cameroon, MoMo↔bank runs through the operator's "Push and Pull" service, and the fee is set per partner bank rather than one flat MTN rate — so the number depends on which bank you move to or from. Check the Cameroon fee page and your bank's schedule.
