About the Pakistani Rupee
The Pakistani Rupee (PKR, ₨) is issued by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and subdivided into 100 paisa. Although it shares the ₨/Rs symbol with the Indian rupee, it is a separate currency — these pages label it PKR to avoid confusion.
