About Orange Cash in Egypt
Orange Cash is Orange Egypt's mobile wallet, regulated by the Central Bank of Egypt within the standard wallet framework. It supports transfers, payments, bill settlement and purchases, plus cash-in and cash-out through thousands of agents, Orange shops and ATMs across Egypt, within limits similar to other wallets (around EGP 60,000 per day).
Per Orange Egypt's published tariff, Orange Cash's fee structure closely mirrors Vodafone Cash: EGP 1 to transfer within the Orange network, 0.5% (capped at EGP 15) to another wallet, with the first transfer each month up to EGP 2,000 free. What distinguishes it is free receipt of international transfers to the wallet, and cash-out of 1% (min EGP 3) at Orange shops or Fawry outlets.
